Welcome
Welcome to Ruth Targino Beauty Clinic. These Terms of Service set out the rules, conditions and limitations that apply when you use our website, book an appointment, attend a consultation, receive a treatment, purchase products or take part in one of our treatment programmes.
By using this website, contacting us, booking an appointment, purchasing a product or attending the clinic, you agree to these Terms of Service.
7 Lansdowne Way, Stockwell, London SW8 1HL, United Kingdom
These Terms are intended to protect our clients, our team and our clinic by ensuring that expectations, responsibilities and limitations are clear from the beginning.
Important Notice
The information on this website is provided for general information only. It should not be treated as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment instruction or a guarantee of results. Although we aim to keep the website accurate and up to date, Ruth Targino Beauty Clinic is a developing business and our website, services, treatment names, treatment descriptions, pricing, packages, product availability, promotional offers and booking processes may change from time to time. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, amend prices, withdraw services, change treatment descriptions or refuse bookings where necessary. If there is any difference between information shown on the website and the information confirmed directly by the clinic at the time of booking, consultation, purchase or treatment, the information confirmed directly by the clinic will apply.
About Our Services
Ruth Targino Beauty Clinic provides beauty, skin, body and aesthetic treatments in Stockwell, London. Treatment availability may vary depending on staff availability, equipment, product supply, client suitability, consultation outcome and clinic scheduling. We may add, remove, rename or change services at any time.
No Medical Emergency or Medical Diagnosis
Our services are not intended to replace care from a GP, dermatologist, surgeon, nurse prescriber, pharmacist or other qualified medical professional. We do not provide emergency medical care. If you have a medical emergency, severe reaction, infection, breathing difficulty, chest pain, swelling affecting breathing, or any urgent health concern, you should contact NHS 111, 999 or seek urgent medical assistance. Where appropriate, we may advise you to seek medical advice before proceeding with a treatment.
Consultation and Suitability
Some treatments require a consultation before treatment can be confirmed. A consultation helps us understand your concerns, goals, medical history, skin or body condition, lifestyle, previous treatments and suitability. A consultation does not guarantee that treatment will be provided. We reserve the right to refuse, delay, modify or stop a treatment if we believe:
- The treatment is unsuitable for you
- It may not be safe
- Your expectations are unrealistic
- You have not provided sufficient or accurate information
- A patch test or medical clearance is required
- There is a contraindication
- You are unwell or unable to safely proceed
- The treatment is not in your best interest
Our decision to refuse or postpone treatment is made for safety, professional and ethical reasons.
Client Responsibility to Provide Accurate Information
You are responsible for giving complete, accurate and up-to-date information before any consultation, treatment, product purchase or programme. You must tell us about:
- Medical conditions
- Medication
- Allergies
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Skin conditions
- Previous surgery
- Previous cosmetic, aesthetic, injectable, laser or advanced treatments
- Recent sun exposure or tanning
- Previous adverse reactions
- Current infections, inflammation, wounds, bruising or sensitivity
- Any change in your health since your last appointment
If you fail to disclose relevant information, Ruth Targino Beauty Clinic will not be responsible for any adverse outcome that could have been avoided with accurate disclosure.
Results and Expectations
Every client is different. Treatment results may vary depending on age, skin type, body type, genetics, lifestyle, hormones, medical history, medication, aftercare, number of sessions, consistency and individual biological response. We do not guarantee:
- Specific results
- Permanent results
- Identical results to another client
- Results within a fixed timeframe
- That one treatment will achieve your desired outcome
- That a treatment will be suitable for every client
Before-and-after photos, testimonials, case studies and treatment descriptions are examples only. They do not promise or guarantee that you will achieve the same result.
Prices, Errors and Website Information
All prices are shown in GBP where applicable. Prices, offers, packages and availability may change without notice. Website errors, outdated information or technical mistakes may occasionally occur, especially while the website is new or being updated. We reserve the right to correct any pricing error, description error, availability error or technical mistake before accepting or fulfilling a booking or order. A price shown on the website does not guarantee that the same price will remain available in the future. The final price will be confirmed at the point of booking, consultation, purchase or invoice. Where a genuine error has occurred, we may cancel or amend the booking or order and offer you the correct information before proceeding.
Bookings
Appointments may be booked online, by phone, by message, in person or through our booking system. A booking is only confirmed once we have accepted it and, where applicable, received any required deposit, booking fee or payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where:
- Payment has not been received
- The client is unsuitable for the treatment
- The client has previously breached these Terms
- The booking was made using incorrect information
- There is a pricing or availability error
- The service is unavailable
- The clinic must close due to circumstances beyond our control
Deposits, Booking Fees and Advance Payments
We may require a deposit, booking fee, consultation fee, package payment or advance payment to secure selected appointments, services, packages or programmes. Deposits and advance payments are used to reserve clinic time, staff time, equipment, products and preparation. Our policy is designed to be fair, proportionate and transparent. Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking: Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours before the appointment time. If you cancel, reschedule late or do not attend, we may retain the deposit, booking fee or a reasonable cancellation charge to reflect the clinic time reserved and any losses caused. For longer, specialist, premium, package or VIP appointments, a longer cancellation period may apply. This will be confirmed at the time of booking where relevant.
Cancellations, Rescheduling and No-Shows
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. Late cancellations, repeated rescheduling and no-shows affect the clinic, our team and other clients. We reserve the right to:
- Retain a deposit or booking fee where fair and proportionate
- Charge a cancellation fee where applicable
- Require full or partial prepayment for future bookings
- Refuse future bookings after repeated late cancellations or no-shows
- Cancel treatment packages if the client repeatedly fails to attend
If we cancel an appointment due to clinic circumstances, we will offer to reschedule or provide an appropriate refund for any service not provided, subject to your statutory rights.
Online, Distance and Off-Premises Purchases
Where services or products are purchased online, by phone or away from our clinic premises, you may have certain cancellation rights under UK consumer law. For many online or distance service contracts, consumers may have a 14-day cooling-off period, subject to certain conditions and exceptions. However, your cancellation rights may be affected if:
- You request the service to begin within the 14-day cancellation period
- The service has already been fully performed
- The appointment is for a specific date or time
- Goods are sealed for hygiene reasons and have been opened
- A legal exception applies
If you ask us to begin providing a service within the cooling-off period, you may be required to pay for the part of the service already provided. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Treatment Packages, Courses and Programmes
Packages, treatment courses and programmes are designed around a recommended schedule. Results may depend on completing the recommended number of sessions and following aftercare advice. Packages may include:
- Expiry dates
- Specific treatment intervals
- Usage limits
- Non-transferability
- Specific cancellation rules
- Suitability requirements
- Required aftercare
- Review appointments
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, packages are personal to the client and cannot be transferred to another person. Missed sessions, late cancellations or failure to follow the agreed treatment plan may result in loss of that session or reduced effectiveness of the package. We reserve the right to amend a treatment plan if your skin, body, health, suitability or treatment response changes.
Special Treatment Programmes
Some treatment programmes are offered as multi-session or tailored plans. Availability, included services, price, duration, aftercare and booking terms may vary depending on the programme. Programme-specific information and any additional conditions will be confirmed before payment. Where written programme terms apply, they should be read together with these Terms and your statutory rights.
Products and Retail Purchases
Products may be sold through the clinic, website or recommended as part of aftercare. Product availability, packaging, ingredients, pricing and suitability may change. You are responsible for reading product instructions, ingredients, warnings and usage guidance before use. You should stop using a product and contact us or a medical professional if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs. For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used beauty, skincare or personal care products may not be returnable unless faulty or unless your statutory rights apply.
Patch Tests
Some treatments may require a patch test before treatment. If a patch test is required and you do not complete it within the required timeframe, we may refuse or postpone the treatment. A successful patch test does not guarantee that no reaction will occur. It only helps reduce risk. You must inform us if your health, medication, skin condition or circumstances change between the patch test and treatment.
Aftercare
Aftercare is essential for many treatments. You agree to follow all written and verbal aftercare instructions given by the clinic. Failure to follow aftercare may affect results, increase risk of irritation, delay healing or cause complications. We are not responsible for adverse outcomes caused or worsened by:
- Ignoring aftercare
- Using unsuitable products
- Sun exposure or tanning
- Picking, scratching or interfering with treated areas
- Attending other treatments too soon
- Not disclosing medication or health changes
- Failing to attend recommended follow-up appointments
Adverse Reactions and Follow-Up
Some redness, tenderness, swelling, sensitivity, bruising, peeling, temporary marks or discomfort may occur after certain treatments. You should contact us promptly if you have any concern after treatment. If symptoms are severe, worsening, unusual or urgent, you should seek medical advice immediately. We may ask you to attend a review appointment or provide photographs so we can assess the concern appropriately.
Client Conduct and Clinic Safety
We are committed to providing a respectful, safe and professional environment. We reserve the right to refuse service, stop treatment, remove a client from the premises or cancel future bookings if a client behaves in a way that is:
- Abusive
- Threatening
- Discriminatory
- Aggressive
- Inappropriate
- Unsafe
- Intoxicated
- Disrespectful to staff or other clients
- Damaging to clinic property
Where treatment is stopped due to client behaviour, fees may still be payable for time, products or services already provided or reserved.
Late Arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your treatment time, adapt the treatment or treat the appointment as missed. Full fees may still apply where clinic time has been reserved and cannot reasonably be reused.
Age Restrictions
Some treatments may be restricted by age. We may request proof of age. Clients under 18 may require parent or guardian consent, and some treatments may not be available to under-18s under any circumstances. We reserve the right to refuse treatment where age restrictions, safeguarding concerns or professional judgement apply.
Photography, Videos and Treatment Records
We may ask to take photographs or videos for consultation, treatment planning, progress tracking, insurance, training, records or marketing. Clinical or treatment-record images may be required for professional documentation. Marketing use of identifiable photographs, videos, testimonials or before-and-after content will only take place with your consent. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time, although this will not affect lawful use that occurred before withdrawal.
Personal Data and Privacy
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This may include contact details, booking details, consultation forms, treatment records, medical information, skin/body concerns, photographs, purchase history and communication records. You should read our Privacy Policy before submitting personal information or attending treatment.

All website content, including text, images, branding, logos, graphics, treatment descriptions, design, layout and digital materials, belongs to Ruth Targino Beauty Clinic or its licensors unless otherwise stated. We are not responsible for third-party websites, systems, content, errors, security, availability, policies or payment processing issues. You should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party platform you use.
Limitation of Liability
Ruth Targino Beauty Clinic provides services with reasonable care and skill. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss, damage, reaction, dissatisfaction, delay, missed result or additional cost caused by:
- Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client
- Failure to disclose medical history, medication or contraindications
- Failure to follow aftercare
- Use of third-party products or treatments
- Treatments received elsewhere
- Normal treatment risks explained before treatment
- Individual biological response
- Website errors corrected before booking or purchase acceptance
- Events outside our reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, staff emergency, power failure, equipment failure, supplier issues, building problems, severe weather, transport disruption, government restrictions, public health issues, internet failure or other unavoidable events. Where this happens, we will try to contact affected clients and rearrange appointments where possible.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, especially while our website, booking systems, services and treatment programmes continue to develop. The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date. By continuing to use the website, book appointments, purchase products or receive services after changes are published, you agree to the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless your statutory consumer rights require otherwise.
